SUMMARY
“Karate Babes Will Look And Laugh While Killer Thugs Are Chopped In Half”
“Good God, this movie really is insane. Drive-in distributors tried their best to get mainstream crowds to see this under a multitude of titles like Mean Business, Devils Three, and Pay or Die, including a brief VHS release as part of Sybil Danning’s Adventure Video line, but this is so far out there it would take years of cult movie awareness and a massive fan base for stars like Weng Weng to give this any kind of understandable context. Lee is a real pleasure to watch as always; perky, pretty, and shockingly gung ho about performing her own stunts (even swinging straight through a giant ass window), she could have easily gone on to a longer action career had she chosen to stick around beyond this and the other Cleopatra Wong adventure, Dynamite Johnson. Guerrero’s performance will probably annoy some p.c. audiences today, but it’s actually still pretty transgressive to see an openly gay character beating the crap out of bigger, stronger criminals. Then there’s Carvajal, who’s so exaggerated you’d have to be a real spoilsport to be offended. It’s stupid, ridiculous, and probably not a very good film at all, but if you’re in the right frame of mind, it’s also very, very entertaining. And there’s a funky disco theme, too…” – Read more at Mondo Digital

Oi ! That poor abused little motorcycle … expected to drag all that wretched excess ( politically correct I aint ) weight around … yeesh !
And then there’s this film … suffice it to say … there’s B Movies … bad B Movies .. really bad B movies … and then there’s this ….. bottom of the barrel .. how the hell this ever made it on to any screen regardless of the title is beyond comprehension .. never mind what idiot ever financed this piece of celluloid dreck !
Eeesh …
yes,I saw bits and pieces of this at one of those 24hr. theaters in Times sq. that showed round the clock Kung Fu movies. The main attraction afterward was The Five Venoms which was rich and satisfying
How the hell is that possible in light of both yer tender age as well as claiming to any and all that would listen ( ElSolitario etc ) … that yer Australian … not American ?
And ahhh … by the way .. just to shut ya down completely … there never was a single 24 hour theater in NYC that showed Kung Fu movies … fact is ya’d of been hard pressed to find any theaters in NYC showing kung fu movies …. they were in the NE relegated to the Drive Ins and back water theaters ….though I can tell you what those 24 hour theaters in NYC did show … wink wink … suffice it to say …. X to XXX … 24 hours a day … every day … hawkers at the door trying to drag you in …
Never try to BS a New Yorker .. past or present …..
😎
Spoken like a true jersey native and yeah there were kung fu movies in times sq. and I think you know that
Bull***t … or should I say .. yet another round of
&$!#%
And yeah I’s a Joisey boy by birth .. what of it ! Spent a ton of time in NYC .. later spent many a year living in NYC … as in … Hells Kitchen ( back when it was hell ) then a loft ( when a loft was really a loft not an over glorified excuse for a condo ) in the garment district .
So whats yer connection ? Oh yeah .. none !
Oh,not as credentialed as you of course, who came to us from an exit on the turnpike,by my stars.
For I am but a humble city bumpkin who was born in bklyn and grew up in yorkville(ceptin 3 yrs in cobble hill) and know little of the sophisticated ways of those who emerged from a Newark or Camden.
Once again … Bull$*** ! Total , utter and complete BS .. as well as even more &$!#%..
BTW wingnut … Cobble Hill IS Brooklyn ! .. Whereas Yorkville .. oh dear … Yorkville NY is is in the sticks … not the city .. proper or otherwise .
Ahhh the facts …
Did I say cobble hill wasnt in brooklyn?
Now look at me little dude. No,dont look away, look me square in the eye.
Yorkville is a neighborhood in manhattan. And a grizzled ‘ol NY hand (from NJ as usual) DIDNT KNOW THAT
