Southbound is an award-winning adventure documentary series following three friends – Danny McGee, Jonah Levine, and Jesse Evers as they ride off road motorcycles from Los Angeles to the southern tip of South America. The series aims to take the viewer along on the adventure, through the ups and the downs, and leave them not just entertained but with a new perspective of the diverse world we live in. The series has toured film festivals worldwide and has gathered nearly a million views on Youtube.
SUMMARY
In February of 2023 two friends and I set out on the biggest adventure of their lives – riding off road motorcycles from LA to the southern tip of South America, riding one month per year until they get there. In Episode 1 (2024) they rode from Los Angeles to the border of Guatemala. They went back up where we left off for Episode 2 (2025), riding through the entirety of Central America including Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Episode 3 will take the boys through Columbia, Ecuador, and Peru.

So whats the big deal ? Breaking the trip up into four parts ? Talk about wimp Snowflake mentality at its lamest . I mean really … GenX actors hove gone and done it all in one swipe … in more technically challenging areas I might add . Old Norwegian ex pats have done the same … alone !
