The street scrambler style was among the most popular motorcycle genres in the USA in the 1960s. The original examples of the 1950s were British, like Triumph’s Trophy line, but the Japanese soon joined the fun, finding enormous sales success with bikes like the Honda C72 Scrambler from 1962 onwards. When MV Agusta introduced their new “bicyclindrica” roadster 250B model in 1968, it was only natural they would offer a Scrambler version in 1969. Typical of MV Agusta, its styling is amazing, surely the most beautiful of all street scramblers to that date. Italian riders did not share the American enthusiasm for scramblers with street tires, so only 52 of these gorgeous machines were built.
