Minibikes were the most popular starter motorcycles in the USA from the 1950s through the ’70s. They were simple and light, and manufacturers like Honda and Benelli capitalized on the craze with sophisticated multi-gear minis. The Benelli Dynamo was the best of the bunch, with super cool off-road styling and a fast little motor that even adult riders were happy to buzz around on. Benelli also made a 180cc version, the Volcano, that could reach freeway speeds.
