SUMMARY

The Wheels&Waves Festival in Biarritz, France (spilling over to San Sebastian, Spain, and the Basque country too) began in 2012, after several years of June rides through the Pyrenees organized by the Southsiders MC. Our publisher, Paul d’Orléans, was a guest at the very first Basque Country ride in 2009, so Wheels&Waves holds a special place for TheVintagent.com – a celebration of everything that’s fun about motorcycling (especially riding!), surfing, skating, and hanging out with friends. The event has grown in stature, attendance, and fun factor every year, with flat track races, sprints, a surf competition, a skate competition, an art show, and now an enduro through the mud! It’s maximum fun in one of the most beautiful places in Europe.
