FILM MAKERS
Documentary film by Stefano Giacomuzzi. The young Friulian director tells of the adventurous journey from Pozzis, a remote location in Val d’Arzino, to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, together with Coconut, alias Alfeo Carnelutti, the hermit of the fraction of Verzegnis. In August, the film won the Best Film Award at the Ivy Film Festival.
SUMMARY
A 73-year-old motorcyclist with a troubled past, a young director, a 1939 Harley Davidson, a quixotic journey towards the heart of Asia and their own dreams.

HATE the fact that its PAL only … which means the overwhelming majority of US/CDN sold DVD/Bluerays and TV’s will NOT play PAL of ……… any kind

With no disrespect intended towards the ‘ Wolves ‘ etc ;
After digging deeper into the character of Coco ( there’s an incredibly revealing 6 minute plus interview on Vimeo that I lost track of )
Coco is THE … as in the sole true El Solitario …. making the rest of us regardless of how independent or on the fringe we may think we are or be … look like a bunch of wimpy dilettantes and wanna be’s in comparison
Fact is … all of us including the ‘ Wolves ‘ should be pooling our funds to purchase Coco a closet full of El Solitario gear … cause brothers … he is the man
( Wouldn’t trade places with him … but I sure envy his guts and tenacity .. especially as I recover from my recent woes )
… and …. as of toady there’s a killer article on Coco , the film maker and the bike on the Italian online M/C magazine …. SuperSpecial
Va bene ! Ecco ! Basta ! Now .. manaja .. make the ( bleep ) film available on NTSC format … so those of us across the great blue divide can own and watch it
FYI; Yes Corrina . No input intended with the AmerTalian . I am of Italian heritage ( second generation American ) now with dual Italian / American citizenship thanks to the generosity of Italy’s government wishing to repatriate many of us back into the fold … which in my case just might happen 😎
