The opposite of death . Hmmm …. anyone wanna place a small wager on that ?
Thought not . 😉
” Authenticity rules ” Blatant hypocrisy from a company desperately trying to ride the back of a genuinely legendary name .. pathetic .
Quoting E.E.Cummings ???? … the man is spinning in his grave at the very thought of these hypocrites daring to quote his words .
Jeeze … I can honestly say I’ve never heard so much blatant effluence ( you could fertilize the entire midwest with the content of this .. InfoMercial )
Its enough to make an intelligent , discerning , wise individual loose his or her lunch after ten minutes or less .
So seriously Pd’O .. if this is the new direction of The Vintagent .. let us know … so those of us coming here to view the classics …. and unwilling to listen to – read – or watch blatant infomercial BS on the ultimate technological SCAM of the century …
.. can in good conscious and without regret … move on !
( apologies to Mz Mantlo .. I know this came down from on high )
Now about that” Irma Vep” mini series [ to end on a positive ] …. no M/C’s so far .. but plenty of scooters … oh well … the back story and the history is fascinating .. and the original ” Les Vampires ” is to die for .
The mid ” Irma Vep ” ? Haven’t watched it yet though I intended to .
Ahh … history ( genuine history ) be it M/C .. automotive .. literary .. political .. cultural .. or film … always worth the watch/listen/read … always … though err …
.. it may just turn you into a cynic as well … once you realize how much revisionism in the name of profit or political gain .. is going on these days .
Oh … and just in case anyone thinks my disapproval is based on an inability to afford this or any other EV POS …. think again !
e.g. Just cause I won’t … don’t mean I can’t . I’m just smart enough … not to .
Toddles 😎
Well said guitarslinger
Please take a grammar lesson. Please also take a punctuation lesson.
I will never ride an electric motorcycle, if that’s the way your company is going then I have no reason to view anything from you again, so Goodbye
Successful companies lead and not follow, sad day for motorcycle companies to follow the electric wave
Then at some
Point you will no longer ride any motorcycle, because whether we like it or not, ICE motorcycles are being legislated out of existence
The bike itself is not attractive. The range seems pretty weak. The CEO uses the bikes center geometry and battery technology as selling points. It’s laughable! How they justify the $85,000-$120,000 price tag is beyond me…. They will claim research and development Is why The price tag is so high. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m not paying for the research and development. I’m paying for the specs and quality of the product.!
This technology is not new and is not worth what they are trying to sell it for …
Jay, every new motorcycle you buy you pay for research and development. Without exception.
It’s interesting to learn more about a brand this way. I don’t really know what Guitarslinger is even talking about, but I thought this was worth the watch. The Curtiss team seems genuine and passionate, which is what it’s all about!
So much negativity in the comments… brutal. I thought the film was a touch on the boring side, but what they had to say was interesting and the product itself is fascinating. More product focused videos please! I support though. Why does everyone always fee so compelled to be rude these days?
Everyone is always so negative on some of these posts. Why not be open minded and view things from a different perspective? I didn’t watch the whole thing (too long for me) but it seems unique and it’s just a few guys chasing a dream. The bike is cool.
I must not have watched the same video as guitar man. I want one!!!!!
The negativity cracks me up,,, it’s the same critics that must follow Curtiss content closely because they’re always the first to chime in with feedback, always negative feedback all while hiding behind fake names. Rather cowardly if you ask me. Shame they have nothing better to do than troll competition thinking real enthusiast actually give a shit about their negative posts you see above. I take their criticism as fear of competition, talent and passion of visionary individuals like we see here with Curtiss.
Kudos out to Team Curtiss!!! Love the style and vision! Keep up the good work, it’s what mutes the critics no matter how ignorant and cowardly they act.
Inspirational and aspirational! Can’t wait to own a Curtiss motorcycle one day!
Gorgeous motorcycle. Truly is a piece of art. It’s a perfect illustration of where the future is heading, the future that I want to see and own.
Congratulations to the team and their vision and for daring to experiment.
Love would be the word. Just being able to ride One. But, most of all, I do love this: “This motorcycle [Curtiss One] is like a tube amplifier. It has the least amount of connectivity, the least amount of circuit boards, and digital bric-a-brac.” It perfectly preserves the only real connection that matters to me as a rider. Thank you, Mr. Nesbitt!
