FILM MAKERS
Thomas J. Wright is a prolific American television director, who has worked on more than 50 screen projects. Wright started out in show business in 1966 as a production illustrator, working as a sketch artist, storyboard artist and production illustrator. His most memorable credits include The Andromeda Strain (1971), Jaws (1975), Apocalypse Now (1979), Pennies From Heaven (1981). He also created all of the gallery paintings for Rod Serling’s horror anthology series Night Gallery (TV series 1969-1973). In the mid-’80s, Wright transitioned into directing, helming episodes of The Twilight Zone, Max Headroom, and Beauty and the Beast. Although he directed the 1989 Hulk Hogan feature film, No Holds Barre, Wright has primarily worked in the TV field, most notably contributing heavily to the late-’90s supernatural series Millennium as both a director and producer. Other TV shows to list Wright as a director include The X-Files, Highlander, Dark Angel, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Firefly, and The Wire.

Jim “Flash” Gordon (Gary Busey) is returning to his hometown after a tour in Desert Storm. Before he arrives, his brother Stoney is murdered by local thugs. The murder is reported as an accident. Jim phones his friend Beach (Yaphet Kotto) who rolls into town with several of their old biker buddies. Jim begins to believe that perhaps Stoney was murdered, but his investigation is not appreciated by the local sheriff and his deputy.

Talk about a major league flop ! Hell … I don’t even remember this travesty existing never mind making the mistake of watching it .
Yet another absolutely clueless ‘ biker ‘ wanna be film /tv series relegated to the circular file of history . Too bad it didn’t stay there …. wink wink …
Amazing in light of his credits that Mr Wright could come up with such a pile of celluloid effluence .
Oh well …. we all gots our flops and failures …such is the fate of life as human beings . Failure being an innate aspect of our DNA … regardless of what a few psychotic delusional narcissists may think .

i’d definitely give it a watch (free link in post!) before writing it off. the vietnam buddies getting back together was handled in an interesting way. i know i’m biased, but i try never to judge a vhs tape by it’s cover 😉
