OK,allright, and I hate to sound like Gunslinger, but there seems to be an endless number of videos out there these days about Ye Olde Master Craftsman making things according to Ye ancient time honored tradition that was handed down from generation unto generation world without end,Amen, and after awhile they all start looking the same.
YOU !?!? ….Trying to Assume you know what I’m going to say ???? …Trying to copy my ‘ voice ‘ ???
Ha !!!
Suffice it to say Splinks … sorry but .. not only am I out of your league …. but you don’t even so much as comprehend the league that I’m in .
Sigh … what a disappointment .. just when you think there’s some progress on anothers part … they take ten steps backwards faster than you can say Jack Sprat ! .Then trip and fall another twenty .. .. sigh …
Oh well …
BTW .. history . genuine craftsmanship and relevant traditions .. either you get it .. wink wink … or eventually .. they WILL get you … biting you on the posterior like the Sausage Creature gone rabid .
Hmmm … I’ve seen Storik’s work and other videos elsewhere … and unlike the above trying in vain to emulate me ..
… I’d sum Storik’s work up as following . A very high level of craftsmanship … no BS design … engineering and function first with form then coming a close second … classic .. while obviously resto modded ( I love RestoMods two wheels / four / Keel and Wing )
The video ?
This and all the other Hoxton Media videos I’ve watched since being introduced to their work … never lower than a B+ with the majority being in the A – A+ range . And thank you HM for avoiding the current trend of meaningless slo mo shots ?
In addendum .. god damn this stupid trade war manufactured to nobodies benefit by … well … you know !
Why ?
Cause right off the bat I see two Storik t-shirts on his website I’d order in a heartbeat ( love the ‘ Design like you Give a Damn ‘ t ) so I could toss a few pennies in his pocket in support .. if I knew they wouldn’t get caught up in the all the b***s**t currently masquerading as ‘ security ‘ issues !
Damn ….

😎
I knew it!I knew it!
I went back later and watched the rest of the show and there it was–the mandatory Lighting Of The Oxyacetylene Torch shot.Indeed, a very solemn moment. They all do it now.
See?I told you.I told you but you wouldnt believe me.
Congrats … ten steps backwards .. fell another twenty .. now swallowing yer foot whole …….
… so remind me .. what is it exactly you think you know ?
the proliferation of torch lighting in these profiles is getting completely out of hand I demand an immediate investimagationn
So once again .. remind us … what is it you THINK you know ?
Its blatantly obvious you’ve never so much as stepped into a shop .. never mind done any real work in one .. seeing as how welding torches are part and parcel of the trade
As a reminder seeing as how you can barely keep track of yourself …. your compliant in the past ( which had some validity ) has been about Slo Mo torch lighting for the sake of effect in film … not lighting up a welding torch in general .
Hmmm …. yup … enshitification .. fits you to a tee
😉
Oh boy, this is getting to be fun
By the way,Been working in machine and weld shops since I was 18.I’m now 68.
Hey,on a different,I cant find paper towel holders ANYWHERE.You know, they’re plastic with the 2 arms that fold out and hold a roll of towels, attach to the wall with 2 screws–they dont exist anymore! A dollar store mgr. told me they were “seasonal” items, like xmas or halloween decorations
