SUMMARY
A friendship between two aircraft pilots and one mechanic turned into a century-old business within the motorcycle industry. Despite one of the friends being killed in an airplane accident, the two other friends carried on with the dream. The Moto Guzzi factory is located in Mandello del lario, Italy. Over the past 100 years, thousands of locals have worked in the factory, situated idyllically along the shores of Lake Como. For two-wheeled visitors, it’s become customary to stop in Mandello and take photos of Guzzi bikes in front of the “red gate” at the entryway to the Moto Guzzi’s facility.

Cannot believe I missed this when first posted ! A 1000 shames upon my soul .
For a 20 minute film they covered a helluva lotta ground quite well !
As for Guzzi … love em or leave em .. one cannot deny that is the BEST setting in the world for a factory of any kind .
As for me … though I’ve always loved the looks … I’ve always considered Guzzi’s to be … err … questionable … but after watching Nick Adams tool his 72 Eldorado all around CDN and places unknown … well … suffice it to say .. I’ve become a believer … so … as of last month … well … sort it out fer yerself … I know you can … suffice it to say … an Italian stallion may be making its way into my garage … after a 35 year ( the ‘ F’ words ) drought
Glad I tripped over this !
Molto Grazie Corrina … you made a bad day much better
