Great film … but …….
Hear Ye Hear Ye see ye before you the roots of KTM’s ascendency into the US market .. to then take a dominant role … only to now fall flat on its Hubris infested face .
So .. enjoy the film … ( the history and info are worth the time ) enjoy the bike … cause all bets are … despite the India buyout … KTM and its subsidiaries are not long for this world .
Oh … and by the way … all those expensive KTM’s still on the showroom floor ? Most are ‘ manufactured ‘ .. in India etc .. making KTM just another ‘ brand ‘ rather than motorcycle manufacture .
Oh how the mighty ARE falling .. left and right
Sigh …..
BTW Corrina … film making 101 … one set … one position [ with a couple of minor side shots ] … focusing solely on one subject .. so what exactly is the sense of mentioning it was filmed with only two lenses .. when it reality … one was more than enough ( thats straight from my cinematographers mouth .. via .. oh dear … the telephone ! )
Very cool story! I was actually at the museum in Aug of 2023 while riding my KTM 790 ADV around the UK and Europe, and although I don’t specifically remember seeing that bike, I do have video footage of another Penton that was on display with Ontario, Canada plates!
