FILM MAKERS

A short film by Moli Oil Ltd for The Vintagent, as part of the forthcoming documentary feature film ‘Oil In The Blood’, a documentary feature film exploring the current explosion in custom motorcycle culture. The film combines two passions: film and motorcycles. It is not a film just about bikes, it’s a film about people.

OITB have to date interviewed nearly two hundred subjects, including such notable bike builders as Roland Sands, Shinya Kimura, Ian Barry of Falcon, Max Hazan, Revival, AutoFabrica, DeBolex, See See, Ed Turner, Rough Crafts, Classified Moto, Cherry’s Co, 46 Works, Suicide Machine Company, El Solitario, The Wrench Monkees, Blitz, NYC Norton, and racers such as Guy Martin and Carl Fogarty.
OITB filmed hooligan flat track and ice racing, American Wall of Death, desert adventures and weekend escapes. They’ve filmed at The Bike Shed shows in London and Paris, Wheels And Waves,  Dirtquake, The Malle Mile, The Trip Out, Mama Tried, The Handbuilt Show, The One Show and the Brooklyn Invitational.  They’ve explored the Custom Revolution exhibition and the American Motorcycle Museum in Holland.
They have also interviewed journalists Paul D’Orleans of The Vintagent, Chris Hunter of Bike EXIF, Ross Sharp and Dutch of The Bike Shed, Andrew Jones of Pipeburn, and major manufactures such as Ducati, Yamaha, Moto Guzzi, Royal Enfield, BMW and Harley Davidson. They have spoken to riders and shed-wrenches, weekend racers and street hooligans. The heroes and the dreamers and the quiet doers.
Two and half years later and four continents travelled, The Oil In The Blood team are deep in the edit digging under the skin of this intoxicating, eclectic and often eccentric culture. The film is due for completion in the summer of 2018.
